We truly are gardeners and flower-lovers at heart and you will see this passion reflected in our work. We naturally lean into very lush and abundant garden-style designs in our wedding florals. We are also passionate about sharing our love for locally grown flowers from right here on our farm! We love to highlight their natural characteristics such as a beautiful bend in a stem, speckles on petals, or color variations that are only accessible with locally grown flowers. These characteristics are what make the natural beauty of our Lily Stone-grown flowers stand out amongst imported blooms.
Our Design Process & Philosophy
Our ideal client is someone who trusts our design style and expertise as professional florists, gives us a color palette & a few favorite flower varieties to work with, and lets us work our magic! As we work together with you to achieve your floral dreams, we can draw inspiration from pictures that have caught your eye online or in other media. We ask that you trust our creative process as we will never replicate a wedding or floral piece that has already been done. Our designers invest their time and energy into each wedding to ensure that it is aligned with the overarching aesthetics that you have been dreaming of while creating something that is unique and bespoke – something created just for you! How to Book Wedding Floral Services
For the 2022 season, the Lily Stone Gardens team is prioritizing full-service wedding florals for couples who have booked events at our new event venue. For all other couples, we are offering floral services for small and medium weddings, as long as each couple can arrange for their florals to be picked up directly from the Lily Stone Gardens shop near Rosenort, Manitoba. This could be a good match for couples needing personal flowers, centerpieces, and a simple floral arch piece, for example. We do not have a minimum budget policy for wedding florals at this time. So, yes – you can order just a single bridal bouquet if that’s all you need. For all inquiries relating to pricing, it is important to remember that pricing for wedding florals is affected by many nuanced factors such as the types or specific varieties of blooms being used, seasonality of materials, quantity, the amount of highly specialized labour involved, and several other details. As a result, it is difficult to speak to pricing without completing a more in-depth consultation process for each client. Bulk Floral Buckets
During the peak of the growing season (July, August, September), Lily Stone Gardens offers a bulk flower option for DIY wedding couples or for use in other events. This is a great option for couples working within a budget or for folks wanting to enjoy the fun of creating their own florals for a summer event. Our bulk floral pails are great for a relaxed, wild-flower vibe!
Bulk flowers are sold by the pail, each containing 60 to 70 stems of mixed, locally grown in-season blooms. Inclusions in the bulk pails shift throughout the season to reflect the natural growth cycles of each flower type. Flowers are hand-picked by the Lily Stone team and are carefully selected to ensure that each stem is in prime condition. We can only offer a limited number of bulk floral buckets in a season, so be sure to book well in advance to snag your blooms for your wedding or event date!
While every growing season is a little different depending on the weather, there are some trends in terms of what is typically in bloom at each stage in summer. Please note that varieties listed below are not guaranteed, but are provided as a general guideline to assist you in the planning process:

- Typical Flower Varieties: larkspur, snapdragons, foxglove, sweet peas, Queen Anne’s lace, bachelor buttons, feverfew, clarkia, delphinium, yarrow, scabiosa
- Typical Colours: Shades of blues, purples, whites, pinks, yellows, burgundy, red
- August:
- Typical Flower Varieties: sweet peas, strawflower, zinnias, amaranthus, Green Mist Ammi, cosmos, gomphrena, phlox, scabiosa
- Typical Colours: Shades of blues, purples, whites, pinks, yellows, burgundy, red, orange, peach
- September:
- Typical Flower Varieties: sweet peas, snapdragons, zinnias, amaranthus, strawflower, cosmos, delphinium, gomphrena, asters, scabiosa
- Typical Colours: Shades of blues, purples, whites, pinks, yellows, burgundy, red, orange, peach
Bulk Floral Buckets
Standard bulk buckets contain mixed flower varieties in a range of 3 or more colours; our team will ask you to provide your colour preferences during the consultation process. Bulk buckets containing flowers in a single colour are also available. We can also offer specific or premium flowers (e.g., ranunculus, anemones, lisianthus, etc.) for sale by the bunch, as an add-on to your bulk buckets.
